Thurstonland, a traditional Yorkshire village enjoying magnificent Pennine views, makes The Old Co-op an ideal centre for both walkers and energetic cyclists.

The Old Co-op began its life in the mid 19th century as two cottages and became the village shop between 1902 and 1964. We moved to the Old Co-op in 2002, where we began a major project of renovation. With an eye for the finer details, we created the very comfortable bed and breakfast that it is today.

The Old Co-op has quite a history, which we will happily share it with you when you visit…….and don’t forget to ask us about the Tanyard ghost!
